Thailand: Koh-ee Mee, the centenarian indigenous Karen leader of the Kaeng Krachan forest, passes away

Kittisak Rattanakrajangsri, chairperson of Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact, sends his condolences to the family and community members of Koh-ee Mee who passed away today. Koh-ee Mee is an indigenous Karen leader of the Kaeng Krachan forest who fought a legal battle to claim their right to live in their own land.

Kittisak challenges the indigenous youth to continue the fight that Koh-ee Mee has started.
