Indigenous peoples recommendations for the SDG implementation in Malaysia

Country Workshop on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Malaysia was held from 11 – 13 April, 2017 in Kipouvo village, Sabah. The workshop brought together around 60 representatives of indigenous peoples across the country to discuss about the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development including its national implementation plan and indigenous peoples in the country. The workshop was concluded with a half-day dialogue with the National Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM) and CSO-SDGs Alliance among others.
