📣 CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: Indigenous Youth Agents of Change Award 2026! 🌍✨

Are you a young Indigenous leader defending your ancestral territories, fighting climate change, or preserving your community’s deep roots in Asia? Or do you know an inspiring young changemaker who deserves the global stage?

The Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP) and partners are looking for 5 outstanding Indigenous youth (individuals or collectives) to celebrate, support, and amplify!

🎁 WHAT YOU WILL WIN:

• Fully Funded Trip: Free travel, accommodation, and meals to attend the 6th IKPA Conference (August 29 – September 2, 2026).
• A Global Platform: Present your grassroots success story as a featured speaker in the conference’s Indigenous Youth Innovation and Solution.
• Amplified Voice: Get featured in regional digital media campaigns, official publications, and AIPP/IKPA advocacy platforms.

👤 WHO CAN APPLY?

You (Individual or Collective)  are eligible if you meet the following:

• Identity: Self-identify as an Indigenous youth.
• Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
• Location: You belong to one of these  countries: Bangladesh, Mainland India, Northeast India, Indonesia, Nepal, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Timor Leste, Japan, Laos, and Cambodia.
• Your Work Focuses On:
  • 🌱 Grassroots & Conservation: Protecting land rights, leading community conservation, or practicing sustainable farming.
  • 🎨 Innovation & Art: Using GIS mapping, digital storytelling, music, art, or poetry to keep Indigenous Knowledge alive.
  • ⚖️ Policy & Advocacy: Engaging in local or global climate policies and treaties.
  • 🛡️ Frontline Defense: Actively defending community lands, forests, and water sources.

📝 HOW TO ENTER (Keep it Simple!)

You don’t need a massive academic paper to apply. Simply submit:

2. Your Success Story in ONE of the following formats:
   • A written story (maximum 2 pages / 600 words).
   • A 3-minute video or audio recording sharing your journey.

Your story should explain: The challenge your community faced, the action you took, the impact you made, and your vision for the future!
