Indigenous Woman Voice on Biodiversity: Ms. Hira Tamang, NIWF-Nepal

“Together, we can all contribute to the conservation of nature — especially with the knowledge that has preserved our identity, way of life, and existence for thousands of years,” says Ms. Hira Tamang.

Ms. Hira belongs to Tamang Indigenous Peoples from Nepal and serves as Programme Officer at the National Indigenous Women’s Federation (NIWF).

NIWF has been organizing various programs focusing on Indigenous Youth and Children.
