Asia Indigenous Observor November Edition

As we prepare to bid another year adieu, the year brought with it a year of eventful developments, challenges both old and new, and how Indigenous Peoples proved yet again their resilience in the face of climate change and other man-made disasters.

Which made the book Launch of “Looking Back and Looking Forward” written by Colin Nicholas at a webinar held earlier this month, more relevant and necessary. The book launch coincided with the launch of the course, “Indigenous Peoples’ Self-Government and Democracy”, with the main objective to catalyze the uncovering
and recovering process of indigenous values and governance system.

Our Secretary-General Mr. Gam A. Shimray facilitated the launch.
