The Dialogue Meeting on Enhanced Indigenous Peoples’ Participation at the United Nations is initiated and co-hosted by the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP), Sami Parliament of Norway and International Work Group for Indigenous Affairs (IWGIA). This is an open-ended dialogue meeting, open to all interested indigenous peoples’ representatives. 1.    Preventing Fraud and Corruption AIPP has its own constitution, bylaws and core values, which shall be the basis for this zero-tolerance anti-corruption policy. This policy outlines the acceptable and non-acceptable behaviors of all AIPP officers and staff, as well as member-organizations and partners having direct project partnership with AIPP to ensure compliance with anti-corruption laws. Preamble Indigenous Peoples are among the most marginalized and vulnerable groups in society and within indigenous communities, women are often the most disadvantaged sector. Although the status held by indigenous women varies from one community to another and from one region to another, they are confronted with multiple forms of discrimination as indigenous persons and as women. Indigenous women experience racism and discrimination from dominant cultures and nation-states. The Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP) is a regional organization founded in 1988 by indigenous peoples’ movements. AIPP is committed to the cause of promoting and defending indigenous peoples’ rights and human rights and articulating issues of relevance to indigenous peoples. At present, AIPP has 47 members from 14 countries in Asia with 14 National Formations, 15 Sub-national Formations and 18 Local Formations.
