Background information for audit:
The Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP) is a regional organization founded in 1988 by indigenous peoples’ movements. AIPP is committed to the cause of promoting and defending indigenous peoples’ rights and human rights and articulating issues of relevance to indigenous peoples. At present, AIPP has 48 members from 14 countries in Asia. The governance structure of AIPP regards the General Assembly (GA) as the highest decision-making body that meets every four years, and the Executive Council as the interim decision-making body in-between the General Assembly.
There are six program components and multiple projects, donors and partners under each component.
In the year 2019, there are more than 1300 transactions amounting to around 60 to 70 million Baht.
Guideline for submission of offer by the Firm
The firm willing to submit the offer to the invitation for the audit should adhere to the following steps:
- Submission of Legal Documents
The firm is required to submit the following legal documents:
- Firm’s renewed registration certificate from Federation of Accounting Profession (FAP).
- Latest tax clearance certificate.
- VAT Registration certificate of the Firm
- Declaration of the Firm regarding the independence of the Firm as well as the Personnel involved in the proposed assignment is not dependent by any means.
Failure to submit any of the above listed documents disqualifies the firm for the further process of evaluation.
- Listing of clients audited
The firm is expected to list down the clients audited during the last ten years in the following formats:
- List of Regional Foundations audited:
- List of NGOs & INGOs audited:
- List of Government/ Private sector/Multinational organization audited:
- Composition of Audit Team
The firm is expected to indicate the number, full name indicating the ethnicity and gender, qualification, year of experience as well as designation of the personnel involved in the proposed assignment.
- Quality assurance of the Firm
i. If the firm is subjected to Peer Review within previous two years. The proof of the same should be attached with the proposal.
ii. The firm should describe the strength of the firm in terms of its:

c. Profile of the Partner, staffs along with their designation.
iii. If the firm is affiliated/associated with the International Audit firm, the proof of the same should be attached with the Proposal.
- Submission of offer:
Firms are expected to submit their offers on or before 21 October 2019.
