AIPP 8th GENERAL ASSEMBLY HIGHLIGHTS

AIPP ADOPTED 2021-2024 STRATEGIC PLAN AND ELECTED NEW EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEMBERS

The two-day 8th General Assembly of Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact commenced from the 25th of March, 2021 till the 26th of March, 2021.

Hosted under the theme of “Strengthening Our Movement Through Co-responsibility”, the event was held partially online and offline in Chiang Mai, Thailand due to COVID 19 related travel restrictions.

However, a full gathering of delegates from AIPP’s member organizations attended leading to active participation in the breakout session and key insights and data were shared from across regions.

Farewell speech by Speech by the outgoing EC members and Chair of the AIPP Advisory Board followed by the handing over and Oath taking ceremony by the new EC members
Remarks from the new Chairperson and Secretary-General (Vision and Future Plans) and Briefing on Phase II of the 8th GA (Physical Meeting) and Felicitation of Election Commission Members
