Indigenous Women’s Network of Thailand (IWNT) and Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP) have submitted a joint shadow report on behalf of indigenous women in Thailand for the forthcoming session of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). The report compares the reality for indigenous women in Thailand to that of the situation as presented by the State Report in 2015, including the impact of existing laws and policies on the elimination of discrimination, realisation of human rights and negative stereotyping.
